I live just outside of the Pocono Mountains in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I am a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn. I have lived in Pennsylvania now for the past 35 years. This website is about the Scranton area, friends and family.... some other odds and ends... and lots of pictures! (a.k.a. avid amateur photographer). Thanks for stopping by the my site. I hope you enjoy the pictures and information. Feel free to sign the guest books on the bottom of the web pages. Also, visit my main page at www.carlabraham.com (for my WNEP-TV and WDAU-TV Tribute pages... Scranton St. Patrick's Day Parade page... my family genealogy page and New York Mets page.)
Before we get to my pictures... we'll start off with some brushes with famous people!
Above Left: Me and my sparring partner Larry Holmes kicking back after a softball game. Larry invited his team and my team back to his spacious home near Easton, PA for a cookout. Middle: Hall, me and Oates after a concert at the Broome County Arena in Binghamton, New York. The concert was part of the "H2O" tour. We eventually broke up due to "artistic" differences. Above right: Richard Deacon (Mel Cooley from the Dick Van Dyke show) with me and some of the gang from "the Whale" WAAL-FM in Binghamton, New York.

The Steamtown National Historic Site was created by an act of Congress in 1986 to preserve and teach the history of steam railroading. The National Park Service preserves the history with programs, a working locomotive shop and roundhouse, seasonal short tours of the yard by train, and seasonal excursions.
